For Research Mentors

The BIS program is designed to meet the varied needs of mature students, providing them with the opportunity to develop a course of study that complements their individual needs and interests. BIS students design their own concentrations by choosing courses and developing concentration titles with the guidance of BIS staff and academic advisors. The concentration must be multidisciplinary and may not duplicate an approved major offered by George Mason University.

The following resources are designed to provide information to prospective BIS research mentors.  If you have any questions regarding the roles and responsibilities of being a research mentor, please contact us for more information.
