Admission to the BIS program is contingent upon admission to George Mason University as an undergraduate student. Additional requirements include:

• completion of high school (or equivalent) at least seven years before admission to the BIS program;
• prior accumulation of at least 30 semester hours of college credit (At least 15 of the 30 credits required for BIS program acceptance must have been earned through conventional classroom instruction);
• a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in previous higher education coursework.
