Track Your Degree Progress

The individualized nature of the BIS Program requires a greater level of involvement on your part in tracking your degree progress.
Every person's degree and course track will be different so it is critical that you review your degree evaluation often.

To move smoothly through your program, remember to take care of the following tasks:

• Activate and check your Mason email account regularly. This is a university requirement for email communication.

• Become familiar with the BIS website. Much of the information you need is on this site.

• Familiarize yourself with your academic records through Patriot Web. You will need to follow your degree progress closely to ensure that you are meeting all requirements for graduation. 

• Access your Degree Evaluation through Patriot Web.  The steps vary depending on your catalog year.

• Bookmark, read, and regularly review the BIS Course Planning information.

• Meet with an academic advisor at least once per semester to stay on top of all your requirements.
